How to enter a Swiss university?

As to get into a Swiss University, you are required to choose a program, collect the necessary documents, fill in the corresponding application and apply for the visa. But this is not the complete list of what must be done. We are sharing the 4 main steps with you, so you do not forget anything.
Step 1:Choose university and program
You can start with our catalog. Here you can read about universities and choose a program, place or language of study.
Step 2:Find out about the admission terms and conditions.
To enroll in a Bachelor’s study program, you need to have a Swiss matriculation certificate or an equivalent to it. Check the validity of your diploma in Switzerland in the section "Admission rules" (or similar) of the selected university.
If you want to enroll in a Master's program, you will need a Bachelor's degree, for Doctoral studies - a Master's degree is required. On top of this, most universities only accept applicants who know the language of studies at C1 level.
In Switzerland, all universities have their own requirements for applicants. Therefore, in order not to get confused with a set of documents or exams, it is better to contact the admissions office of the University that you are applying for.
Step 3: Apply for a program
Plan well ahead and file your application on time. Swiss universities are strict about deadlines and most of them require written applications. Get in touch with us if you need help.
Step 4: Apply for a visa (for non-EU citizens)
If you are coming to Switzerland for a short time, Swiss or another Schengen visa are suitable. Please contact us and we will explain the details.
